The scenic Valcuvia Valley belongs to the pre-Alpine valleys of Lombardy and is located between Lake Lugano and Lake Maggiore about 15 km north of Varese. For nature lovers, hikers and cyclists, this area is a paradise.
The old mill, built around 1850, is located in an oasis of greenery that once fed the mill wheel and thus kept the mill and associated life alive for centuries. During the renovation process, the architect attached great importance to the preservation of the original structures and managed to build an architectural bridge between the past and the present with the help of regional materials, without affecting the original character of the mill.
